About the IWF Georgia International Women's Day 2021 Event: 

IWF Georgia Invites You to the 2nd Annual International Women’s Day – IWD 2021 Program, Hosted Virtually by Georgia-Pacific on March 8, 2021
 
IWF Georgia is celebrating the importance of International Women’s Day (IWD) by hosting its 2nd annual International Women’s Day (IWD) program to raise awareness of the condition of women in the U.S. and worldwide. We invite you to join us for this important event planned for March 8, 2021.  
 
Funds raised by your participation will support IWF Georgia in the following ways:

• Support for IWF Georgia International Women's Day mentoring program for college students majoring in international studies or selected for leadership programs at their universities and a select number of early career women who are employees of the program’s sponsors.
• Support the admission of a noncorporate rising female leader, nominated by IWF Georgia, into the IWF Global Fellowship Program - a nine-month leadership program with an annual cost of approximately $36,000 per accepted nominee. 
• Support powerful programming focused on the status of education of women world-wide. 

 
We anticipate approximately 200 attendees for the 2021 IWD program, including leaders from the greater Atlanta region in business, government, academia community; leaders from metro Atlanta immigrant communities; women Consul Generals in Georgia; IWF members from neighboring states; leaders of IWF Global including the IWF Global CEO and IWF Global Board members from other countries, members of IWF Georgia, and women participating in our mentoring program described below.

​IWD 2020 Program Agenda:
IWD 2021 is a virtual event featuring an update on the status of women globally and in Georgia; a global education update on access to information for women and girls around the world; a panel presentation to address America’s arguably most at-risk students, Black females; break-out discussion groups with facilatators; and a mentoring session for early career women.

IWF Georgia Member pricing is complimentary including 1 ticket for IWF member and an additional ticket for her *Guest. 

​*Guest ticket can be provided back to IWF Georgia to support a college student or early career woman to attend.
